For anyone who might be curious about how many steps I’ve been taking, I started manually inputting my steps into Steptracker. Srah got an account so I decided to go ahead and get one, too. You can’t really do much with it other than just track your own steps but I think it will be interesting in the long-run. And it’s fun to compare and contrast my steps with Srah’s.
HA HA HA! I’m winning so far! ;)
If only we could have a race across Michigan the South Bay . . .
« Last night in north San Jose And now I will never leave the confines of the Internets »

You will continue to win if you keep doing things like working out! These are my normal average everyday steps!
Do you keep your pedometer on when you work out? Maybe I should wear it on the treadmill just to see how much I walked.
Of course I keep it on when I’m working out! That’s the whole point! :)
Oh, hmm, why does that seem like cheating?
I’m out there too.
Sylvie – why is working out cheating? I’m making a concerted effort to get more steps – that’s totally fair game!
It’s all exercise! In fact, Noor’s workouts are likely better exercise than my ambles to class.
Hmm ok, I give. Starting tomorrow, I’m taking mine to the gym too. If I can find it.
Then you have to start recording with us!
AHHHHH I keep getting emails from steptracker but I keep forgetting to take my pedometer.
Sign up for WalkerTracker – I think it might be better. :)
Yeah, I’m using WalkerTracker instead. It has more features.
GO نور!
perfect! Did you figure that one out on your own or did your prof help you?
Can you write Sarah yet? :)
We learned how to say good morning yesterday, and I knew that your name meant light. NO I can’t! What letters (including imaginary short vowels, which we are using) do I use?
I’m surprised you learned sabah el noor. I think sabah el khair is more popular (but probably harder to say).
Here is your name:
ساره
or
سارا
I think both are correct (depending on how you want to pronounce it) but the first one looks more correct.
We learned both. Thanks for your help!
