I had a dream about social network diagrams last night.
I don’t remember much of the dream other than I did some sort of reduction, which caused my network to become fairly disconnected. Nonetheless, due to the reduction, I was able observe some interesting patterns in the network. Central nodes emerged more clearly after the reduction.
I’m not making this up.
Only a few more days until I defend my thesis . . . and then maybe I’ll start dreaming about things other than social networks.

Before I took the GRE, I would have dreams of GRE questions that my brain somehow made up and I worked through. I don’t know if it was good practice since I don’t remember if they questions/answers made any sense. But it went away after I took the test, as I’m sure yours will. :)

Why Sylvie, we will all be bringing our berry foraging impression. In fact, we may just have to have a berry foraging moment at the beginning to warm everyone up.
If it makes you feel any better about the whole Trebuchet / Arial thing, in my dreams, they would have allowed you to format your thesis in Trebuchet (they really liked how our CSCW report came out).

Our CSCW report looked awesome! We used Gill Sans MT, though. I usually use Trebuchet as a web font and Gill Sans as a print font. They’re very similar, though.
I still can’t believe that I made it into your dreams as formatting our report. Figures!
