I haven’t seen any daffodils today but I did finally get to see Maya Lin’s Wave Field. The weather was absolutely gorgeous today so our professor let us out a half hour early. Since we were already on North Campus and we’ve been wanting to check out the Wave Field for a while, Nicole and I figured that today would be the perfect day to check it out. It was really fun to just sit on the grass and soak up the sun. I think we both felt like we got a ten minute vacation.

I love the wave field! Glad you went out there.
I never got a chance to go there :(.
It’s pretty awesome to think that Michigan has all this great public art. However, things like this don’t get publicized too much for some reason or other. You guys should also check out the display of ENIAC in the lobby of the EECS building.
Oh shoot! I forgot all about that. I guess I better add that one to my to-do list…
How long will you be around A2? I want to cap off my grad school experience in May with all of my favorite people . . . so doing all sorts of things one last time. Nicole and I want to visit the wave field again with Diana after classes are over with. I’ll keep you posted!
Let’s do it on May 1 then – before I leave! I’d love to go there as well.
I’ll be in town until May 8th. As long as we’re “capping” off, maybe we should all treat ourselves to some Zingerman’s as well…
i miss zingerman’s!
