		<description>Batata also means potato in Arabic but I never made the connection between Ibn Batuta and potatoes.  For some reason, the duck association is what resonates the most with me.

I think there may have been a duck-like character in Arabic cartoons who was called batuta, though, so maybe that's where I got it from?</description>

		<description>Thats funny because I played him in a school play about Sultan Mohammed Bin Tughlaq... and until then, I had always associated him with a potato .. as Batata in Hindi means potato. And my schoolmates called me potato for the rest of the year because of that.</description>
