I just bought my ticket for Dubai! I’m leaving December 15th and returning January 2nd. I’ve been wanting to checkout Dubai for a while and now that my brother and his family live there, Christmas break seems like an opportune time to do so.

Nope, just me so far.
I think they all think I’m crazy for actually planning for things as opposed to waiting at the last minute.
I’m SO not an Arab . . . well except that I tend to operate on Arab time.

I have been REALLY wanting to go to Dubai after um… well.. seeing it on Amazing Race. (That’s how I get my culture) The hotel that looks like a sail is gorgeous.

Umm, if you can fork out $1600 for your ticket, I’m sure my brother and sister-in-law wouldn’t mind another little person.
Especially one that plays Sims all day and then takes screenshots of her Sims and uploads them to Flickr.

How cool! What service did you use to find your ticket? Is there anyone particularly good (and cheap) for international flights?

At first, NWA.com was the cheapest ($1300) but then right when I wanted to buy my ticket, the prices shot up to $6000! I went back to Travelocity and Expedia and both had $1600 so I ended up using Travelocity because I like it better.
